Sacred Heart Youth Action Group

The Sacred Heart Youth Action Group operates to support the social & spiritual development of the young Catholic adults - the youth - of the parish. To be members of the group you need to be 13+, school year 9+ and confirmed in the Catholic faith. The Meeting are from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and usually follow a common structure.

7:00 pm - informal welcome & free time to use the equipment available - at present comprising table soccer, snooker/pool and table tennis.

7:30 pm - FOOD! Hotdogs, beef burgers, Pizza or similar.

8:00 pm discussion and debate e.g. planning future activities, topic of the day, topic of interest.

8:30 pm - interactive group activities e.g. team building challenges, group game, humorous activity.

At present there is no charge for participating in the activities of the group at the church. However where external activities are planned then there may be a cost that the group will be required to meet.

More information will be shared on the various activities and events lined up as they approach. Also look out for dates of Parish events in which we can take an active part.
